Technology Can Be Exhausting

Wow! I have finally made it to the end of EDTC 5010 with some strong points and then some not so good points.  This class has definately be a challenge for me this month.  I have spent many hours working on technology for this class to the point of exhaustion but I am glad I did not give up.  I have found that technology is great only if you fully understand how to use it.  Some aspects of the class was easier to use while other technology aspects were frustrating.  I had many issues with some of the downloads of software and worked on two different computers to get the work done.  However, I found that technology can be your friend and enemy.  Sometimes as we complete tasks we fail to fully complete them and I found this a issue for me.  Some of the assignments or projects seemed to just not work out for me but I now know my weaknesses and strong points in using this new technology I was introduced to in this class.  I really enjoyed the Google docs, VoiceThread, Delicious Account Bookmarks, and creating a blog.  Technology isn't my choice on subject to blog about but it was beneficial to understanding how it integrates and plays a important role in education and as a educator.  I value the experience from this class and will continue to embrace technology.  There were many times I just wanted to drop this class but I refused to give in and made it to the end.  I can say I done my best and I'm not a quitter!  Technology is here to stay and lets all hop on and enjoy the ride to the future.
